Computer Engineering.
I’m Giovan Christoffel Sihombing, a Computer Engineering graduate from
Universitas Indonesia. My work connects data, models, and the
applications people interact with.
Research and application development.
That might mean finding the right data, understanding why a training
experiment failed, or connecting a model to an application. My
individual thesis explored a distributed machine-learning workflow. In
team projects, I’ve worked on AI components and application logic.
An academic exchange in Japan and Japanese-language training shaped my
interest in working across cultures. I’m considering roles in Japan
and Indonesia, including international companies and consulting teams.

- Participate in a ten-month program covering app development, user-centered design, product discovery, prototyping, and collaboration within the Apple ecosystem.
- Contribute to group discussions and technical implementation, including data collection, AI/ML model development, application logic, and model integration on Apple platforms.

- Received JASSO scholarship support for an academic exchange and collaborated with students from Southeast Asia and Taiwan.
- Prepared and delivered a group presentation on local food waste, discussing regional challenges and community-based approaches with international peers.
